Duck Souls

Project 

In a galaxy where Metal Duck overlords reign in terror, and the soul is more than a consciousness but also a currency, the rogue Metal Duck must rise to restore order to the cosmos. Fighting his way planet after planet to reach his end goal of revenge or maybe, forgiveness.

​In this RPG Adventure game, play as a duck on a mission to save the tragic world he lives in and fight back, no matter the consequences.

My Work

Duck Soul is a game that I made with a team of 10 people under the Xbox Game Studios Game Camp Atlanta. I worked on it as a Lead Narrative Designer for 3 months. I collaborated with other departments as well dipping my hands into art and game mechanics. My main tasks were:

Narrative Design
  • Managed the overall story and narrative aspects.

  • Supervised my department by assigning tasks and implementing their fantastic ideas.

  • Created a well-rounded story that paired nicely with both gameplay and art.

Trailer Creation 
  • Directed the complete vision for the trailer alongside the PM.

  • I relayed the concept for our game in a cool and engaging way using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

  • ​Included all department's work to highlight our achievements.

Art and Gameplay
  • I helped with concept art for the main characters and cosmetic attachments.

  • Along with the gameplay team, I helped develop the cosmetic customization system to upgrade the duck.

  • I also helped with the ideation of core gameplay features.
